François Jaggi was born in Saint Loup d'Ordon, France. He then moved to Switzerland completing his diploma in Jewellery at the School of Arts in Geneva.

After working as a freelance Jeweller in Geneva, François decided to move to Australia where he and his family now live in a secluded home with studio on the Northern Tablelands of NSW.

François says:

Australia gives me exciting and limitless possibilities in Sculpture giving me the opportunity to work full time as a sculptor.

First working with drawings; representing with different mediums, returning them to idealise form giving them light and graceful movement.

My passion and expression is coming to form every day with new sculptures. The understated but powerful presence of sculptures transforms the space surrounding them.
